Astute’s Nuclear Team is partnering with a design consultancy, who are heavily invested in providing leading projects to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer for one of their sites in the Midlands.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Structural Engineer role

Reporting to the Associate Engineer you will:

• Lead and run projects and delegate work
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and liaise with technicians
• Be client facing and attend site visits
• Provide detailed designs for projects within the Nuclear and Commercial sector
• Offer insight to potential new business leads

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• 5 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer (minimum)
• Ideally chartered with the ICE or IStructE (or working towards)

The Senior Structural Engineer role would suit someone who is:

• Comfortable in difficult situations
• Able to manage their time well, as well as others within the team
