As the Mechanical Maintenance Technician you'll be responsible for carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance across a variety of critical plant. Operation of mobile plant and machinery in accordance with the company's procedures Operations of weighbridges when required and completing the necessary tickets associated. Operation of overheard cranes to assist with fuel loading operations. Carry out first line maintenance activities within the tipping hall area ensuring the CMMS is updated & accurate. Keeping the fuel handling & ash area clean, tidy and free from obstruction. Carry out inspections of waste arriving to site in the tipping hall to ensure compliance with the waste acceptance protocol and reporting any non-conformance. There will be a focus on improving efficiency & plant performance to meet contractual obligations in terms of availability & power production.
