Responsibilities and duties of the Field Service Engineer role

Reporting to the Head of Operations you will:

• Assist with planned inspections and maintenance in line with legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements

• Support reactive maintenance activities including fault diagnosis and resolution

• Carry out site surveys as required

• Compile accurate documentation for internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner

• Maintain detailed electrical testing records, High Voltage documentation and safety paperwork suitable for audit

• Ensure work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost and productivity targets

• Comply fully with company Health & Safety policies and procedures

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)

• C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection

• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (18th preferred)

• At least one year’s maintenance experience within industrial, commercial or domestic environments

• Full UK driving licence
