About the role:
Astute’s Renewables Team is partnering exclusively with a key business and influential player in the UK Anaerobic Digestion market. The company are seeking a Commissioning and Optimisation Manager to join them to develop and build a portfolio of multi-year contracts and projects in the UK.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will:
- Provide ongoing support and process optimisation to the operations team
- Assisting and supporting the engineering and construction teams in design, site layouts and process interfaces
- Own the initial phases of plant set up and establishment, providing overall leadership and technical insight/advice
- Using your technical and engineering knowledge in order to justify beneficial moves for plants when it comes to equipment and spend, backed up with data and research
- Ensure that there is an efficient and logical system for regular asset register checks to review the condition of the company operational assets
- Develop, implement and maintain all operational KPI systems across all AD and gas injection points
- Lead of PLC, SCADA and Teamviwer administration, access controls, system updates and upgrades
- Other duties are required
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A degree in a relevant higher education is hugely preferred
- An understanding of biogas and anaerobic digestion operations is key
- Experience with HAZOPs and ALMs
- Supervisory/management experience, plus NEBOSH or IOSH
- UK driving licence
