Astute’s Renewables Team is partnering exclusively with a key business and influential player in the UK Anaerobic Digestion market. The company are seeking Sustainability and Auditing Manager to join at a pivotal time for the business, as they roll out £500 million of new facilities across the next few years.

Responsibilities and duties:
As the Sustainability and Auditing Manager you will:
- Collect data required for sustainability and government scheme submissions.
- Preparation of submissions for the Renewable Heat Incentive and Green Gas Support Schemes.
- Gathering, checking and presenting data, as well as manging third parties in preparation for audits.
- To collate data from suppliers to calculate the carbon intensity of the feedstock production process.
- Monitor any changes to the soil quality and crop yield due to the use of digestate.
- Ensuring complete compliance with regulations, championing best practices and working closely with the schemes managers.
- Supporting the wider business to develop the sustainability strategy.
- To develop an understanding of sustainability credentials of all feedstocks.
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Degree level qualified
- Three years’ experience within a similar role
- Experience with UK government systems, specifically the Renewables Heat Incentive and Green Gas Support Schemes.
- Knowledge of voluntary Sustainability Schemes (desirable)
