Site QA/QC

Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading sub-contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a QA QC on 2 months minimum contract for its site in West Midlands with an immediate start.

The Site based QA QC role comes with a day rate of between £300 – £400.

Key skills

• Conduct, manage and plan quality inspections.
• Champion quality assurance and inspection processes, producing clear and accurate reports covering quality approval, construction progress, non-conformances, defect resolution, and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with the site construction team, clients site-based quality and construction teams to ensure inspections, approvals, and documentation are fully compliant with project based and statutory requirements.
• Support, monitor and promote compliance with the company’s and project requirements.
• Track Snags/ Damages to show close out applying a golden thread approach.
• Investigate quality non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Support the continuous development of quality practices and initiatives with regards to performance improvements.
• Essential to have experience in external & internal cladding, roofing and/or façade remediation.
• Must hold an CSCS or CCNSG card
• Must have experience with client interactions and communication on site.
