Astute’s Power team is partnering with a successful Principal Contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Site Commercial Manager on a 24-month contract.

The Site Commercial Manager role comes with a rate of £450.00-£500.00 per day.

Key skills

Identifies commercial opportunities
Minimise commercial risks on the construction site
Guide and monitors other commercial site personnel, and allocate tasks to the team
Has responsibility for the claim management for site works, establishing necessary supporting documentation, assessing risk as well as incoming and outgoing claim potential, in close coordination with the relevant work package holder.
Together with relevant technical or project personnel, participates in commercial negotiations to reach agreements with subcontractors for allocated packages
Ensures correct administration of payment procedures in accordance with contract and legislation, and issues respective documents correctly and in time.
Ad hoc tasks where required.
