Astute's Power team are partnering with one of the largest operators of energy networks and energy infrastructure in Europe. They are looking to recruit a Senior Development Engineer who will be based from home and will be challenged with growth of the team.

The Senior Development Engineer plays a vital part in providing customers engineering solutions including problem resolution and energy profile reduction.

Responsibilities and duties
Working as the Senior Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Leading the UK development team which will consist of 3-5 direct reports across UK.
Taking the technical lead on complex projects
Building relationships with customers to understand requirements.
Project development budgets
Providing analysis of key project and developments
Allocating team workload, ensuring objectives are maintained
Managing design process, creating decarbonisation proposals

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Degree educated or HND in a Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Materials or Chemical Engineering
IOSH or NEBOSH certificate
Experience/Knowledge of industry standards (CIBSE Regs, building services, British Standards, ISO etc)

Personal skills
The Senior Development Engineer role would suit someone who is:

Experienced with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work under pressure
Excellent attention to detail
