Senior Civil Engineer
Astute’s Renewables Team is partnering with an international design consultancy to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer for its Glasgow site.
The strategically important Senior Civil Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £65,000 pension, flexible working and a car allowance on top.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Civil Engineer role
Reporting to the Head of Civil Engineering you will:
- Review civil works
- Complete Civil Design works including Earthworks, Drainage, Access Roads and potentially a small amount of Structural work
- Communicate with external contractors on site
- Offer support and guidance to junior engineers in the team
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or similar (HND or higher is considered)
- 5 years’ experience postgraduate
- Ideally experience working within a Renewable Energy position
Personal skills
The Senior Civil Engineer role would suit someone who is:
- Passionate about Renewable Energy
- Driving to succeed and likes working as a team
- Willingness to be able to travel around the UK / Ireland, should you be needed to
