Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a green energy engineering company, that offer services ranging from design, project management, installation and maintenance, with a focus on renewable energy assets, including solar power, EV infrastructure and energy efficiency solutions. Together we are recruiting for a Quality Control Manager to work from their Cambridge site.

The Quality Control Manager role comes with a salary up to £65,000 (DOE), company benefits and an opportunity to work with a global business that encourage learning and development.

Responsibilities and duties

As the Quality Control Manager, you will:

Ensure all project participants are informed and educated on the required standards.
Monitoring overall construction performance to ensure technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements.
Inspecting completed and ongoing works to verify they meet project specifications.
Working with stakeholders to identify approaches and methods to improve project quality.
Promptly reporting any work that does not meet the design specification requirements.
Liaising with clients and reporting progress to key stakeholders and colleagues with involvement in the project.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Degree qualified or equivalent in a field related to business and quality control.
Proven experience working within quality management in the UK construction sector, particularly experience with solar PV/ BESS projects.

Personal skills

The Quality Control Manager role would suit someone who is:

Highly organised and able to work autonomously.
Flexible to work 5 days a week on-site in Cambridge.

Salary and benefits of the Quality Control Manager role

Salary between £55,000 + £65,000 (depending on experience).
23 days holiday + bank holidays.
