Project Manager
Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with an international player in the nuclear energy market recognised for its innovative solutions and technology for designing, building, maintaining, and advancing the global nuclear sector to recruit a Project Manager for its Hinkley Point C project.
The Project Manager position comes with a salary up to £60,000, 8% employer pension contributions, professional membership body support, and a wealth of other benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will:
Ensure that business projects are executed and controlled according to best practices, fulfilling customer requirements while minimising business risks.
Develop and take responsibility for the implementation of project management processes in accordance with UK management systems and best practices.
Directly oversee and/or engage in specific projects and bids, covering all aspects of project management, project control, contract management, site management, site work delivery planning, and HSE/CDM advisory.
Develop, lead, and supervise site teams according to project needs.
Manage the relationships with clients and all stakeholders, including third parties and vendors.
Oversee project delivery through a team of project professionals (project engineers, project managers, project control functions) ensuring adherence to time and budget constraints.
Lead and develop a team of project managers.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
A qualification in engineering
Prince 2 or APMP qualification (or equivalent)
CSCS card
SMSTS or SSSTS
Personal skills
The Project Manager role would suit someone who is:
Managing projects in excess of £1m
Experienced in a regulated heavy engineering sector (such as rail, nuclear, pharmaceutical, construction, or aerospace).
