Project Manager

Astute’s Renewables Team is partnered with a leading Energy Main Contractor to recruit a Project Manager to lead a £20m BESS (Battery Storage) project at Tilbury.
This role is a contract position and comes with a day rate from £550.00 to £650.00 outside of IR35.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

* Leading and managing the BESS Tilbury project, overseeing all aspects of delivery for the Electrical Main Contractor.
* Managing project finances and ensuring budgets are controlled and monitored
oversee installations for electrical cables and connections.
* Leading and coordinating project teams, including subcontractors and site staff
* Developing, maintaining, and delivering project programmes
* Ensuring all work is delivered safely and in compliance with H&S standards
* NEC4 contract management experience is essential
* Strong background in programme delivery and financial control
* Experience in STOR / Peaking Plant projects is advantageous
* Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders
* Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and budget
Location and timeframe of the Project Manager position:
* Tilbury, UK
* Immediate start date
* Contract until May 2026, with potential to move into further projects
