Project Engineering Manager

Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a leading provider of complex Engineering Solutions and services to the nuclear energy, industrial and petrochemical sector, to recruit a Project Engineering Manager for Heysham 2.

This brand new position will be leading the plant and CAPEX engineering improvements of the site and comes with a base salary up to £75,000 per annum.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Senior Project Engineering Manager for Nuclear and Defence, you will:
 

• Develop and implement engineering solutions, processes, and procedures across the project lifecycle.
• Continually develop engineering, maintenance and fabrication capabilities.
• Liaise with design teams to ensure engineering designs are adhering to specifications, constructability, installation and maintenance requirements.
• Manager and coordinate subcontractor manpower.
• Coordinate and expedite supply chain resources to ensure project deliverables are achieved.

• Managing high value, complex engineering, maintenance, CAPEX projects.
• Experience working within highly regulated sectors such as power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical.
