Project Planner
Location – Cheshire
Day rate – £400.00 to £450.00
Duration – 6 months
Start date – June 2025

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Project Planner to work with the EPC contractor on a new build Energy from Waste plant in Cheshire. The role of Project Planner is to create, maintain and review the main project master plan, and make changes were necessary.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interface with inspections, projects, and turnaround teams to ensure all requirements are understood and achieved.
• Prepare and report weekly on progress of each individual job
• Ensure packs received have a clear and defined work-scope.
• Provide accurate upfront task durations and costings.
• Promote teamwork between groups, to achieve group and refinery goals.
• Bring new ideas, to improve planning systems already in place.
• Assist with site planning and forecasting
• Updating from field and supervision into regular updating of planned / achieved activities.

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Proficient use of Primavera P6.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Ability to collate and interrogate data.
• Proficient in use of all relevant SAP modules.
• Analytical Skills.
• Proven level of competence in previous planning position, preferably in the Industrial Power sector.
