Astute’s Power team is partnering with a European based Electrical subcontractor to recruit 2x Pipefitter's Mate on 2 months for its Aberdare site.

The Pipefitter's Mate role comes with a rate between £20-£22 per hour.

 
 
Key skills 

  • Assist pipefitters with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems.
  • Prepare and organize tools, materials, and equipment needed for each job.
  • Hold, position, and secure pipes during installation and fitting.
  • Assist in cutting, threading, and bending pipes as directed by the pipefitter.
  • Help in aligning and clamping piping components for welding and fitting.
