Astute’s Power team is partnering with a European based Electrical subcontractor to recruit 2x Pipefitter's on 2 months for its Aberdare site.

The Pipfitter role comes with a rate between £26-£32 per hour.

Key skills

Assist Electricians in Installation and Maintenance: Support qualified electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring within the open cycle gas turbine plant.
Conduct Routine Inspections: Perform routine inspections of electrical components, including circuit breakers, transformers, and switches, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any issues to senior electricians.
Cable Management and Termination: Assist with cable pulling, laying, and termination, ensuring all wiring is installed correctly, securely, and according to safety and regulatory standards.
Tool and Equipment Management: Responsible for the preparation, organization, and maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and in good working order for electrical tasks.
Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment on the plant site.
