Astute’s Renewables team are partnering with a well-established and leading Food Manufacturer, that service the UK and European markets, with quality and service at the forefront. We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their Pulborough site.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role comes with a salary of circa £42,000, working a shift rotation of 0700 – 1900 4on/4off. Plus, company benefits and free onsite parking.

Responsibilities and duties

As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will:

• Complete PPM and reactive breakdown maintenance on manufacturing/ industrial/ FMCG machinery to maximise equipment performance.
• Conduct electrical fault-finding with quick response and rectification.
• Perform activities on 3-phase and single-phase power.
• Perform activities on motors, pumps, metal detectors, flow wrappers, ultrasonic utters and packaging equipment etc.
• Other duties as required.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Time served, or engineering qualifications.
• 17^th/18^th edition wiring regulations.
• Previous experience maintaining industrial machinery, ideally within FMCG.
• Experience with welding is desirable.

Personal skills

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who is:

• Knowledgeable of both electrical and mechanical duties, with a bias to electrical.
• Hands on and enjoys getting stuck in.
