Mechanical Technician
| Astute are working on behalf of our client who operate a Gas Storage facility located in Hampshire. Gas taken from the National Transmission System is placed into storage on site and held until demands require it to be placed back into use. The facility has a storage capacity of 10 billion cubic feet which provides around 20% of the UK Storage capability. We are looking for ideally a Mechanical Maintenance Technician with an apprenticeship and around five years industry experience. As a Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance across a variety of critical plant & equipment on site such as pumps, compressors & valves.
