Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a well-established and leading specialist in design, manufacture, and installation of specialist steel structures. They are looking for a Marketing Executive to join their team. Our client is looking for someone to contribute to existing marketing initiatives, whilst assisting with the development of new ones aligned with their projects across rail, highways, telecommunications, and nuclear industries.

This integral position comes with a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience and the chance to work on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities and duties

As the Marketing Executive you will:

Assisting in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
Ensuring all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business objectives, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content and lead generation
Prepare marketing activity reports measuring program success
Provide market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results & trend analysis
Support the maintenance and development of internal sales & marketing tools, including social media platforms and website
Complete the appropriate administration in a timely and effective way
Initiate prompt action/referral/follow up of issues via appropriate channels
Maintain up to-date knowledge of competitor activity, products and services and of marketplace
Identify and log opportunities for new business and expansion of existing business
Plan and attend exhibitions, build relationships with existing and prospective clients and have an involvement in delivering presentations.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Power-point & CRM
Social Media platforms (LinkedIn)
Ideally worked within an engineering environment

Personal skills

The Marketing Executive role would suit someone who has:

Strong oral and written communication skills
Organised multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to travel to exhibitions and feel comfortable conversing with clients
A valid UK driving license is required.

Hybrid working – 3 days in office and 2 days from home
