• Working with the site teams on outage, managing a scope of work and ensuring it is completed in a timely manner.
• Managing your own scope of work, this will include working on Mechanical equipment such as Boilers, Turbines, HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) and associated plant.
• Acting as the technical authority in relation to design standards, codes of practice and legislation.
• The execution of site mechanical projects safely and within budget.
• Developing asset management strategies.
• Identifying areas of improvement across the plant to increase efficiency.
• Ensure maintenance plans and targets for the team are achieved safely, on time and within budget and to the correct quality within the environmental limits of the station.
• Directing and supervising on site contractors.

• Ensuring HSE compliance at all times.

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 
• Have previous experience in Mechanical maintenance or engineering in a heavy process environment.
• Significant experience working with specific equipment including HRSG / Boiler / Welding
• A Safety qualification such as IOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent

• Able to work alone as well as part of a team
• Organised with strong attention to detail 

• Basic salary up to £75,000
