Lead Electrical Engineer – CCGT Power Stations

The Electrical Engineer role comes with a starting salary of up to £75k plus a benefits package that includes 12% pension, private medical and a car for business needs.

• Working with the site teams on outage, managing a scope of work and ensuring it is completed in a timely manner.
• Managing your own scope of work, this will include working on Electrical equipment such as High Voltage switchgear, generators, transformers, rotating plant motors etc.
• Acting as the technical authority in relation to design standards, codes of practice and legislation.
• The execution of site electrical projects safely and within budget.
• Developing asset management strategies.
• Identifying areas of improvement across the plant to increase efficiency.
• Ensure maintenance plans and targets for the team are achieved safely, on time and within budget and to the correct quality within the environmental limits of the station.
• Directing and supervising on site contractors.

• Ensuring HSE compliance at all times.

• A degree in Electrical Engineer or equivalent 
• Have previous experience in Electrical maintenance or engineering in a heavy process environment.
• Significant experience working with High Voltage equipment including generators and transformers (essential)
• A Safety qualification such as IOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent

• Able to work alone as well as part of a team
• Organised with strong attention to detail 

• Basic salary up to £75,000
