Astute’s Power team is partnering with a European based Electrical subcontractor to recruit a Health and Safety Lead on a 10 month contract for its Kent site.

The Health and Safety Lead comes with a rate of £350-£400 per day.

Key skills

Carry out daily site tours to assess HSE compliance and implement measures to remove nonconformities.
From this determine any gaps/areas for improvement with a view to creating an integrated management system.
Propose interim solutions
Develop and produce a HSEQ delivery plan with the end goal of securing the pre agreed accreditations
Overseeing the installation of all electrical work Implement all policies and procedures once approved by the stakeholder group and ensure the work is carried out in line with the Health and Safety compliance on site.
Create a governance to ensure regular updates are reported and tracked against key metrics
