Head of Electrical – Solar

Astute’s Renewable’s team is partnering with a leading renewable energy provider committed to sustainability and professional development to recruit a Head of Electrical (Renewable Technologies).

The Head of Electrical – Solar role comes with a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will:

• Lead the Electrical team across both Design and Engineering functions
• Ensure timely and efficient project delivery
• Work collaboratively with the Mechanical and Digital inhouse teams
• Foster high standards of safety and quality in all installations
• Support the development of the service and maintenance offering
• Sustain relationships with suppliers and ensure business growth

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• 18th Edition
• NVQ Level 3
• Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2394/2395 or 2391)
• Solar Qualification (BPEC or equivalent for Solar PV / Microgeneration) – Desired
• Level 4 Design and Verification (2396) – Advantageous
