Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The vital Electrical Maintenance Engineer role comes with a basic salary of £58,100 – £87,100 + a performance related bonus + other excellent benefits.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

• The daily planned maintenance of electrical assets across the site which includes power distribution systems, HV/LV motors, actuators, switchgear (up to 400kV), generators, etc.
• Leading a team of technicians and apprentices, whilst working closely with 3^rd party contractors on site.
• Collaborating closely with the Control & Instrumentation Team and the Mechanical Engineering Team.
• Have full control of the electrical maintenance budget
• Deliver planned maintenance on time and in line with the company standards.

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Ideally a Degree in a Electrical Engineering discipline however, would consider those with a HND/HNC/NVQ Level 3, etc.
• A formal Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH is required as a minimum

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who has:

• Prior Electrical Engineering experience working in heavy process engineering environments such as Power Stations, Paper Mills, Top Tier COMAH sites, Refineries, Petrochemicals, etc.
• Experience working with High Voltage (HV) systems up to 400kV would be ideal.
• Experience working with relevant electrical equipment such as motors, generators, switchgears, PLC systems, etc.
• Demonstrate the ability to successful manage teams
