Claims Manager
Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a global service provider in the renewable energy sector that is focused on safety, efficiency, and innovation. Contributing to the advancement of the energy sector worldwide, we are currently looking to recruit a Claims Manager on a permanent basis to join the team based in either Oola, County Limerick, or Didsbury, Manchester.
The Claims Manager role comes with a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will:
- Manage the entire claims process for supplier warranty claims within the UK & Ireland Region Service Department.
- Cultivate and enhance supplier relationships, ensuring warranties are accurately tracked.
- Act as the main liaison between the Region and Headquarters Commercial and Claims Departments.
- Drive improvement initiatives from investigation through to successful implementation.
- Support the Commercial Team with cost control activities and consolidate data to meet key performance indicators.
- Oversee the end-to-end handling of customer defect and warranty claims, ensuring effective tracking and process optimisation.
- Administer the return of expired warranty bonds and manage interdepartmental cost tracking and recovery.

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Significant experience dealing with supplier contracts and tender processes, preferably within the wind industry.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent project management skills.

- Strong collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel to different offices and service points, with occasional overnight stays.
- Great organisation skills
