Astute’s Power team is partnering with a Leading Operator for their Operational waste to energy facility based in Sittingbourne. We are currently recruiting an Assistant Shift Team Leader for a 6 months contract

The Assistant Shift Team Leader position comes with a day rate from £375.00 to £400.00 (Inside IR35)

Key skills

Assist the Shift Team leader in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the plant when on duty.
Support the Shift Team Leader to operate and improve the facility in accordance with our clients standards and goals.
Assist in the provision of reports and analysis of operational Key Performance Indicators and incidents.
Monitor consumables.
Understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues minimum IOSH Managing Safely.
Experience of process operations in a mechanical & electrical plant and relevant engineering.
IT literate.
Experience gained through working in a continuous process environment, preferably with experience of working shifts.
Ability to operate, or train to operate a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant.
Prepared to work a continuous rotating shift pattern, including adequate voluntary overtime to cover the workload and maintain operational availability.
