About CSWDC

Can you tell us about CSWDC and the roles you were looking to recruit?

CSWDC is an independent waste management company that extracts energy, heat, and electrical power from municipal and commercial solid waste.

We’ve been operating since 1975 and also manage a household waste recycling centre on behalf of Coventry City Council.

We take environmental responsibility seriously and have a strong working relationship with our neighbours, as we’re close to residential areas.

Recently, we successfully recruited an STM through Arjun at Astute and are currently working with him on another role – an Electrical Project Engineer – through People Plus.

We also recently filled an EC&I Engineer role through both People Plus and Astute.

Can you share any specific success stories or measurable results from this hiring campaign?

“One of our biggest successes was hiring an EC&I Engineer.

“It was a particularly tough role to fill, as there weren’t many candidates available.

“Interestingly, a former employee who had left five years ago saw our job listing and contacted Arjun.

“In that time, he had gained valuable experience, making him an even stronger candidate than when he originally worked for us.

“Arjun reconnected us, and we successfully rehired him.
