Our headquarters are in Denmark, and we have manufacturing facilities in America, Europe, and Asia, along with sales and service representatives in 17 countries worldwide.

Can you tell us about the Sales Manager role you’ve retained Astute to headhunt?

The Sales Manager role we are recruiting is crucial for driving our business growth and maintaining our leadership in the rendering and processing solutions market.

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and expanding our market presence.

They will work closely with our global sales and service teams to ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients and help them achieve their operational goals.

What skill sets are you looking for in this role?

For the Sales Manager role, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in technical sales and business development, preferably in the industrial or processing equipment sector.

Key skills include strategic planning, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, and the ability to understand the customers’ processing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Where will the successful candidate be based?

The successful candidate for the Sales Manager role will be based in the UK, and work either from home or from our UK office. 

If working from home, then there will be an expectation of a couple of days per week out of the office initially for training.

The role requires travel to customer locations in the UK and Ireland.

Are there any specific qualifications people applying might need for this role?

Applicants for the Sales Manager role should have a Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in business, engineering, or a related field.

Additionally, significant experience in sales and business development within the industrial sector is highly desirable.

Certifications or further education in sales management or related areas would be an advantage.
